Lithium Electric Forklifts

Lithium-ion batteries support faster charging, opportunity charging and lower routine battery maintenance. Lead-acid batteries generally have a lower initial cost but require longer charging periods and more regular maintenance. The right option depends on shift length, charging schedule and budget.

Three-wheel forklifts usually offer a smaller turning radius for narrow warehouse aisles. Four-wheel models generally provide greater stability for heavier loads and longer travel distances. Aisle width, floor condition and load weight should be considered together.

Use the heaviest actual load, load dimensions, load center, required lift height and any attachments to determine capacity. Nominal capacity alone is not enough because residual capacity can decrease at greater lift heights.

They can operate on suitable firm and level outdoor surfaces when equipped with appropriate tires and electrical protection. Frequent rain, steep gradients, loose ground or very uneven surfaces may require a different forklift type.

Provide the required capacity, maximum lift height, pallet dimensions, aisle width, operating hours, preferred battery type, local charger voltage, attachments and destination country or port.
